Now that the second international break of the season has arrived, we take a closer look at the financial efficiency rankings of clubs across Europe’s top five leagues and the English Championship.
The efficiency algorithm is based on four main financial metrics: estimated wages, net transfer spend, total squad value, and the spend-to-wage ratio. Together, these provide an overall measure of each club’s financial strength.
